Epimedium
Sagittatum- herb native to Asia and
Mediterranean region, which has been given the humorous monicker of
“Horney Goat Weed” for its
alleged sexual potency. Known as “Yin Yang Huo”
in Chinese medicine, the herb has been traditionally used as a tonic
for “Yang” deficiency as well as sexual dysfunction
and dispelling wind. Epemedium is thought to work via modulation of
cortisol levels (the primary stress hormone), keeping the hormone under
control, thus helps to restore energy levels and libido. |
